Hot Toddy Mix
Our newest product, Wood Stove Hot Toddy Mix soothes the throat and will warm your entire body. It begins with all-natural wildflower honey, lemon juice, ginger, and a proprietary blend of spices. To make a hot toddy for yourself or your guests, just combine a quarter cup of hot toddy mix with hot water (or tea) and your favorite spirit. We at Wood Stove love bourbon or rye, but rum, vodka, and brandy also make for a delicious hot toddy!
Mulled wine is the classic, hot spiced wine. It starts with a well-rounded red wine flavored with dried fruits, citrus peel, and a combination of warming spices. It is often accompanied by mulled apple cider at holiday markets across Europe and around the world. Even from a hundred feet away, you can smell the inviting aroma of mulled wine or cider. Wood Stove Mulling Syrup is a small-batch, craft-brewed product that goes well beyond cheap mulling kits that contain low-grade spices. Our syrup is carefully created with Cape Cod cranberries, citrus peel, natural sugars, and a proprietary blend of warm and soothing mulling spices. The flavors are combined and infused into the syrup over several hours. Just mix with wine or cider, and heat it up on the stove, in a crock pot, or in the microwave.
Hot Toddy & Mulling Syrup: These are available in 8 and 16 fl oz glass bottles as well as gallon jugs.
Our summer line-up comes exclusively in 16 fl oz glass bottles, though we are happy to make 32 or 64 fl oz bottles if requested for caterers or foodservice companies.
Yum + Yum = Yum. That's what our friends said when we had them over for a tasting of the blueberry-lavender mixer. Sweetened with pure clover honey and perked up with a touch of citrus, this mix is perfect for cocktails (with a bit of gin or vodka) or for your iced tea, lemonade, smoothies, or seltzer (Polar > La Croix). Or toss some in your favorite martini or gin and tonic for a beautiful blue color and the taste of Maine blueberries and culinary lavender.
We were skeptical when developing this product at the recommendation of friends who LOVE strawberry-basil smash cocktails in the summer. But we were so surprised at how this real, natural strawberry juice, cooled down with basil leaves, tastes so much better than the artificial "strawberry" flavorings you may have tried before. It's ultimately sophisticated rather than sickly sweet. Use it in cocktails, iced tea, seltzer, and lemonade...or drop it in some red wine for an incredible SANGRIA. Like all of our products, it's sweetened with a bit of honey and lemon.
Rose, Honey & Lemon
Our founder was once at a fancy restaurant in Camden, Maine when the water brought him their signature cocktail for the 4th of July. It was heavily infused with organic rose petals and given a great twist with lemon. It was pink and floral and utterly delicious. Hence, we have taken the rose and lemon and sweetened them up with some honey and made a remarkably simple and out-of-this-world mixer that is best with vodka, gin, or rum but which is also great just in hot water as a tea or in smoothies or lemonade. Rose-infused lemonade or iced tea anyone? Or add it to rosé wine for a rose rosé sangria. Mind...BLOWN. We tried seven different types of rose petals before settling on the best variety for this mix.
Most mixes for margaritas, mojitos, gimlets, and other citrusy cocktails tend to be way too sweet have have little flavor besides lime and perhaps some imitation triple sec. Our cilantro-lime mix has not only tart lime but also a ridiculously large dose of fresh - NOT DRIED - cilantro. If you don't like cilantro, don't buy it. If you, like us, love cilantro, you'll never go back to other lime juices or margarita mixes. Made with real lime juice, cilantro, and clover honey from New Hampshire. It's delish!
